Early in 2021, Aidan (the youngest Reddekopp brother) started making a drink to serve to guests at our Vanilla Mill Restaurant. He called it the “Red Ohia” (Ohia trees are Native Hawaiian trees with beautiful red flowers) and the drink was an immediate hit with patrons.
It was a new take on an old classic! The “Jimmy Boy” (our version of a Arnold Palmer) has been our most popular served beverage for over a decade, it is made by combining our Vanilla Lemonade with our Vanilla Black Tea over ice.
Aidan changed out the Black Tea for our exceptional Vanilla Rooibos Tea and the “Red Ohia” or “Vanilla Pink Drink” was born!
