Honey Pepper Pecan Fudge

The layers of flavors in this new recipe from Hawaiian Vanilla Company will move your palette to a new state of bliss. We love how this recipe utilizes the play between pepper and vanilla for a complex taste enriched and drawn out by the chocolate. Use only the best, premium, pure vanilla extract, straight from our kitchen, for this delectable treat!

Ingredients and tools needed:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 oz of your favorite chocolate (I used Hershey's Dark Chocolate)
  • 1 tsp of Hawaiian Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Hawaiian Vanilla Honey Pepper Pecans (lightly chopped)

  • 1 pot
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 small dish or pan for cooling the fudge
  • Parchment paper or tin foil

Instructions:

Step one: Melt butter in a pot over low/medium heat.

Step two: Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the butter.

Step three: Break up the chocolate and stir it in until the mixture is completely smooth.

Step four: Add vanilla.

Step five Continue to stir the mixture to prevent burning. Once the mixture begins to thicken (after about 5 minutes of stirring), remove it from heat.

Step six: Pour the mixture into a parchment lined pan and top with Honey Pepper Pecans.

*OPTIONAL: stir in the pecans BEFORE pouring the mixture into the pan*

Step seven: Refrigerate until the fudge is completely set. This will take 2-4 hours! Afterwards, slice up and enjoy!
