A magically vanilla twist on a classic breakfast go-to, Hawaiian Vanilla Co presents a gorgeous yogurt parfait topped in collaboration with Maura Getzfread. The real star of the show in this recipe is the brown butter vanilla granola which features our extra-strength Hawaiian Vanilla Extract. Use the granola in the parfait and save some for later for a grab-n-go snack.
1 stick of butter
2 cups of oatmeal (old fashioned oats or instant oats)
1.5 cups of slivered almonds
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of honey
1 tbsp Hawaiian Vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt (optional)
Raspberries (or any other berry or fruit of your choice)
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2. Melt 1 stick of butter in a pot over medium heat. Wisk often and remove from heat once the butter turns a brown color and smells nutty.
Step 3. Add the brown butter and all remaining ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
Step 4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly.
Step 5. Bake until the granola is a golden color - about 20 minutes. Stir halfway through to ensure everything bakes evenly.
Step 6. Let the granola fully cool before breaking the granola into pieces.
Enjoy your granola layered with your favorite yogurt and fresh fruit!
