Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons Hawaiian Vineyards Loose Leaf Vanilla Tea
  • 1 tablespoon Hawaiian Vanilla Extract
  • 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

Process

Step 1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the heavy cream to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the tea. Cover the saucepan and steep for 30 minutes.

Step 2. Strain the mixture using a sieve and discard the tea leaves. Stir in the vanilla extract. Transfer the cream to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until the cream is completely chilled.

Step 3. Remove the cream from the refrigerator. Using an electric mixer or by hand, whip the cold cream to stiff peaks.

Step 4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a large mixing bowl. Working in batches, gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

Step 5. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours before serving.
