Say “hello” to your new go-to simple summer treat. Everyone loves a good homemade ice cream and your mouth will be watering either because of the deliciousness of this recipe or because it is so simple! This recipe features two all-star products from the Vanilla Co. menu - our Premium Extra-strength Hawaiian Vanilla Extract and the Hawaiian Vanilla Vineyard Tea Blend. Crafted in collaboration with Christina Pun, we are so pleased to bring you this very-vanilla ice cream dessert!

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons Hawaiian Vineyards Loose Leaf Vanilla Tea
  • 1 tablespoon Hawaiian Vanilla Extract
  • 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

Step 1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the heavy cream to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the tea. Cover the saucepan and steep for 30 minutes.

Step 2. Strain the mixture using a sieve and discard the tea leaves. Stir in the vanilla extract. Transfer the cream to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until the cream is completely chilled.

Step 3. Remove the cream from the refrigerator. Using an electric mixer or by hand, whip the cold cream to stiff peaks.

Step 4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a large mixing bowl. Working in batches, gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

Step 5. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours before serving.
